Trigger Point Dry Needling (TDN)

The use of thin filiform needles inserted into a knotted muscle or myofacial trigger point to elicit a Local Twitch Response which releases the painful knot or trigger point.  Research shows that TDN reduces muscle contraction and chemical irritation while improving range of motion and reducing pain.
